Cristina Troufa is an artist from Portugal. Co-founder of the Association of Sculpture and Contemporary Art – AEAC. She creates acrylic paintings on canvas with a unique detailed style playing with negative space and giving it an important role in he composition. Doing so, all the emotion of the piece is focused into the features and flesh of her portraits, making them truly live. Represented in various collections: MAEDS, FADEUP, FBAUP. Since 1995 Cristina Troufa did group and solo exhibitions in Art Galleries and Cultural Spaces, in Portugal, Spain, Italy and Australia.
