Human progress by photographer Leah Kennedy
Leah Kennedy is a photographer from Australia. She attended a photography workshop with Christian Fletcher and Nick Rains in 2013, that was the start of her carreer has a photographer. Her photography is inspired, in part, by her passion for travel and new experiences. She’s been specialising across travel, landscape, aerial and creative/illustrative works. In her “progress” series, human interaction with the environment creates interesting contrasts. From the early stages of our interaction with the land through to the remnants left behind as nature takes back and erodes man’s effects. This series will look at the contrasts between human marks and the natural environment, and the sometimes surreal landscapes that emerge as a result. It is an observation on the concept of human progress.
