An Obsessive Guide to AI Art and Its Makers

Partfaliaz.com was created in 2007 by Antoine Lecomte, art director based in Paris. For seventeen years it ran as a reference blog for creative professionals, archiving portfolios, links, and visual work from illustrators, photographers, and designers around the world. Over time it accumulated more than 1,500 posts, 10,000 images, and a million unique visitors.

In 2024, the site was stripped back and rebuilt around a single focus : AI art and the people making it.

Not because AI is a trend worth chasing. Because it raises questions worth taking seriously, about authorship, about creative identity, about what it means to make something. Partfaliaz.com covers the artists, the ideas, and the practice.

With enthusiasm. And with a critical eye.

The format is simple : artist interviews that go beyond the feed, and essays that try to make sense of something still being invented.

The site also carries an international illustration agency directory, a legacy from its earlier years, and still one of its most visited resources.
