In the quiet Swiss town of Aarau, creativity takes form in the hands of Lorenzo Montalvo.
A graphic designer with a passion for storytelling, Lorenzo creates work that doesn’t just look good, from bold logos to expressive editorial layouts, his designs capture attention and stay with you.
His journey began behind the scenes, in a printing company, where he learned how paper, ink, and precision come together to make ideas real.

Lorenzo Montalvo is also now an AI artist who boldly blends his human skills with technological tools. He was kind enough to tell us a little about his background and inspiration…

Who are you?
I’m Lorenzo Montalvo, a Swiss artist and graphic designer with roots in branding, identity, and visual storytelling. My recent work focuses on the intersection of human creativity and artificial intelligence.

How long Gen AI?
I started working with generative AI about three years ago when I discovered MidJourney. What began as curiosity quickly turned into a professional tool. Today, AI is an integral part of my creative workflow—both in personal projects and client work.
What is your current inspiration?
Nature still inspires me deeply—its shapes, colors, and textures. At the same time, I’m fascinated by futuristic aesthetics, especially in fashion and digital culture. I love mixing the organic with the visionary.
Which AI tools do you use?
MidJourney is my go-to tool because of its visual depth and intuitive use. I refine the results in Photoshop to add a human touch. If there’s a “secret sauce,” it’s this: don’t let the AI do all the work. Guide it, challenge it, shape the outcome with your own voice.
Any advice for new AI artists?
Start by playing. Don’t aim for perfection—aim for discovery. Learn the tools, but more importantly, learn your own taste. Use AI as a sketchpad, not a finished product. The best results happen when you stay curious and take creative risks.
